What we actually do

Most agencies sell ads. Ads on their own break a service business, because leads arrive faster than the shop can answer them and the good ones go cold. So we build both halves.

The ads are a two-layer Meta engine: cold conversion campaigns testing four angles per ideal customer, and retargeting built to answer the four objections that stop people booking — cost, social proof, time and trust. Booked customers are excluded automatically so you never pay to reach the same person twice.

The system underneath is a quiz funnel and landing page that qualifies the lead without quoting a price, an automated first text that goes out in minutes instead of hours, and a seven-stage pipeline so nothing sits unworked. Then we coach the offer, the follow-up scripts and the pricing structure, because the same leads are worth more against a better offer.

Who we work with

Mostly car care. Mobile and shop-based auto detailers, window tint installers, ceramic coating shops and paint protection film installers. We also work with other local service businesses — window cleaning, mobile wellness — generally at $5,000 a month or more, run by owners who know how to operate but have never had a reliable way to get customers.

We keep the roster small on purpose. Every client gets a dedicated account manager checking daily, a dedicated short-form editor, fresh creative weekly, and a weekly call. The goal we hold for every client is $100,000 a month in revenue.

How we charge

Three models, and we recommend the third:

• Monthly retainer, flat, scoped to volume.
• Performance: 8% of your average order value per qualified lead.
• Profit-share at a guaranteed 3.5x return. We calculate the maximum you can spend to acquire a customer and still clear 3.5x on profit, then take what's left over after ad cost. If we don't hit 3.5x, you don't pay the share.

Clients always pay their own ad spend directly. Setup is billed once and itemised, and any line can be dropped.

Who runs it

Montana Marketing was founded and is run by Deegan Nelson, based in Phoenix, Arizona. Day-to-day operations and client delivery are handled by Brody, with a team of short-form editors producing creative.

Montana and Phoenix

The name is not a marketing choice. Montana Marketing was founded and registered in Montana, and the team has since moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where it operates from today. The company is the same company, in the same state registry, run by the same people.

We work nationally, so the office location matters less than the service area. Current accounts run in California, Montana, North Dakota, Arizona, Virginia, Tennessee, Oregon and Georgia — including a client in Missoula, in the state the company started in.
